Erm i'd just go and find a Hilton hotel or similar and get the airline to ring me when the flight was confirmed.

Power naps are shown to boost your energy, so taking a 20-minute catnap could actually leave you more refreshed than if you were to stay awake. If you're stranded anyway, keep your luggage with you and take a quick nap if you want; it could be a good decision.

If you're a really heavy sleeper, it might be a bad idea because you don't want to miss your flight or, though I doubt it would happen, someone could steal things while you sleep. Remember to set an alarm for when you need to wake up

Depends why you're stranded at the airport but I'd take a catnap - you will be woken up when people start arriving for work at 5am.

If you are a light sleeper, take the nap. If you wake up drowsy, who cares---you're only getting up long enough to board a plane and fall asleep again....

If you don't stay awake, you risk missing the plane.
