zoloft is probably the leading one, with the least side effects, most popular. also there is ativan, paxil and many others. fyi there is no such thing as a pill. capsule, tablet, caplet. (sry its a pharmacy pet peeve) the whole swallowing thing is just in your head, you swallow most food bigger than medication. put it in a bite of food. but to get your best answer you should talk to your doctor, a pharmacist could help you but cannot give advice

(Regular) Xanax can be crushed and mixed with something like applesauce to get it down easier. But NOT the extended release Xanax. It cannot be crushed.
It's probably the most prescribed anxiety medication..
