Thats what I have been trying to say but everyone wants to call me a racist redneck hick. Think about it, if millions of undocumented illegals enter the country with no problem, its setting out a message to terroist, that well if they can do it, so can we, mmm... we just found a portal to transport weapons of mass destruction, you dont think terroist can get in and release some deadly disease, but yet go ahead and keep demanding the border stay open and largely unprotected. Keep on sneaking over here like its no big deal, just wait until millions are dead, then whos gonna be speaking then

Is there some political undertone here??
There is no current "inability" to secure the border. The US is fully capable of shutting the border down at any time. While it may not be 100%, rest assured, we could control most of it FULLY.
What you call "lack of ability" is mearly political pandering and down right stupidity of our current elected officials, both parties.
We have the current technology within our military to make the border (northern and southern) a no-mans land without endangering a single solder or law enforcement officers life, after it is set up and implementation.
The net results of this "plan" would make a graveyard of the border. But, it would be the bodies of criminals.....right.

Well, that's pretty obvious ... Al Quaida and other merry gangs of the same persuasion have already infiltrated the U.S. across the southern border, as witnessed by border patrol and police in Texas ... then we have our friend Hugo Chavez in Venezuela who is busy supplying certain middle eastern gentlemen with papers to allow them entry into Mexico ... and from there to the U.S. ... but hey, our corporations need cheap labor, right? And every illegal who enters the U.S. are only here to make a better life for themselves, or so we're frequently told ... so no need to worry, right? All is rosy in the garden ....

We have the ability..but we also have to much corruption in our government to use our abilities! The message was sent the afternoon of 9/11..we're just making a show for Americans with all this Homeland Security, we'll leave our southern border open...see Vincente, we have a deal (wink, wink, nod, nod)

It points out the unwillingness of government (in the face of massive public support of increased border security) to finance and execute strict border control; this encourages asymmetrical warfare by providing a gauge of our collective will- we are viewed as a nation corrupt and divided, one not willing to sacrifice to keep our freedoms and security, one ripe for the picking, whether it is a slow and steady invasion by foreign born peoples with no allegiance or recognition of American law, tradition, values or moral standards, or a lightning fast evaporation of all living things in the blast and fallout zone of a detonated nuclear device.
It's taken over 200 years to place us on this page in history, yet we are not willing to sacrifice 200 seconds of our time to truly assess the global threat that is at our doorstep. We are glad to invest our time in leisure, but not in liberty, and this may be the saddest epitaph written on a defunct civilization in the history of mankind: When they were on top of the world, they made it a point to be uncomfortable and search for and effect their own demise. That is what America will be known for, if we do not rekindle the ghosts of our Founding Fathers, and face the attacks upon our nation with unbridled patriotism and necessary sacrifice to ensure our survival. The time for rhetoric and nuance is over, there is now a need for survival, and every action required to ensure it.

Do not fear,we have the ability. We have the fire power but until legal Americans demand enforcement by taking it to the streets, will any drastic measures be taken? No..Why? It works for big business ,it works for the politicians Its just us legal tax paying Americans its not working for.We are going to have to show the people in Washington, who the boss is in this country. We will have to raise our voices united in protest. We want action.
And we need to tell them we want it now.Complaining on line isn't getting it for me any more.I want to see action taken and I want to join my fellow Americans in our quest for OUR human rights.I'm ready for the next step in taking back this country from corrupt politicians.
