Anyone know how to obtain census info online for free...I mean really free.

Check with your local public library. Many have access to Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com. All you need is a library card.
If they have Heritage Quest you may be able to access it from home.

Hey Hedy,

LDS Family Search has 'some' census records for free. I go to Cindi's list when I am looking, but that always takes me to pay sites. You can get from others, that have access because they pay, go to GENFORUM for the surname and ask for specific records.

Well if you are in the United States then you can go to your local geneology library at the Mormon Church (I personally know of two--one is in of course Salt Lake City and the other is at the main temple in Los Angeles). You can also try their website
