I am a senoir in high school and am thinking about joining the Navy next year. I was wondering if you could describe any good jobs to lookout for and maybe a description of what they are. I got a 99 on my AFQT so that shouldn't be problem.
I'd particularly like a job that involved learning a foreign language, but that's okay if they're not.

the best entry level job is one that YOU will enjoy doing for 4-6 years. Foreign language is CTI(Cryptologic Technition, Interpretive). You must take the DLAB(currently need at least a 100 to have even a shot at CTI), be a citizen and eligible for a Security Clearance.

if your ASVAB score is a 99, expect to be pushed..hard.. into Nuke or any of the CT ratings, as they are perpetually undermanned.

with that score u shall qualifed all job in the navy plus some job do need additional requirement like more test DLAB, such test usually are the best paid bonus and best advancement job in the navy, they are pretty much more NUKE rate, missile tech etc.. they can get up to 40k sign up BONUS ! but sadly u had to paid tax for that, bu tstill large amound, usually a 6 year contract however, but no doubt with those job is gonna benefit u carrer, once u out u shall get very high paid job as nuke tech... and guess what navy is paying u even more to stay after 6 years to extend u. however do had some bad drawback such as limit u to travel country like china, russia possible theath to U.S. for aleast 10 years when u active duty to the time u out of service pretty lame but that's how it work, also u might experience some hearl issue in long term such as radiodic chemical in u body. also u duty would be alot of deep sea time in sub.

You picked a great place to get advice from cowards and turn coats. No place for a patriotic citizen to get sound advice.
Explore all branches of the military, remember they are "recruiting" you so hold out for the job you want.
