How come i always "sit-up" on bed in the middle of the night without knowing? I read that...."The sleep walking activity may include simply sitting up and appearing to be awake while actually being asleep".... from http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000808.htm

My psychiatrist said that "Zyprexa" I am taking might worsen the condition a bit...anyone has same experience too? Pls. share.

Anyone has this "sitting up" during sleep too? Please share of how to stop it...for me, now it changed from "sitting up" to "head on one hand, whole arm forms a 90 degrees angle, lean on one side as well" Please help as it is too dangerous as I always have twitched my neck and hurt my shoulders +serious headache the next day. ;'(

you are seeing a psych person, you could consider a neurologist, it is probably time that will cure, you can ensure healthy sleeping habits (exercise in the day so that you are tired at bed time, minimise caffeine intake, no TV or computer a few hours before sleep, quiet and dark room etc), lock the doors before going to bed so that you don't walk out of your place in your sleep, make sure there is nothing laying around so that you minimise the chances of falls etc, good luck
