it is my bottom front tooth

forgot to add, I have had braces on for 3 years, they are coming off in Feb, I take it I will have to wait under the fixed braces are off before considering anything?

if it has receeded and is very sesitive at the gum line, they can do a white filling on the front of it, stops the sensitivity, you keep the tooth and it looks fine. It doesnt have to be removed

An implant may be impossible if the gum has receeded badly. You may have to have a bridge.

If you have gum disease (periodontal disease) implants will be impossible. The gum will pull away from those, too. At least if you get a bridge, you can get that replace when your gums recede more.
