Why can't the Muslims stop their brothers from these dastardly acts?

No, not all. Nor are all muslims terrorists.
However, there is an alarming trend. If they follow the Koran to the letter, they must "Kill the infidel where they find them" Their definition of infidel is (in this order) Jew, Christian, American, All others.

i feel that all muslims are not terrorists i beleive that there are good muslims.We are always judgeing other countrys but if we would look at our own we would find that we are not so free after all. I do not agree with the things that has been done to the USA.We have people write here that are americans that are killing people and doing horriable things to children and what is being done about it our president is out tring to fix other contrys but what about ours it needs justice and peace put back in our streets.We are suppose to be a free nation but how are we free when our children can not even go out to play without haveing to fear that our neighbor will hurt or kill them and we as men and woman can not go out at night time alone for being afraid so i say no muslims are not all terrorists.We have terrorists write here at home.

If it is at all possible, the Christian crusaders were guilty of horrible atrocities against the Jews and Muslims of Europe and the Middle East. And yet, we know that Jesus came to bring a spirit of peace, not a sword. Fundamentalists possess abberate views of their religion, no matter what that religion is. Usually these terrorists manifest their doctrines during times of economic hardship, when there is great disparity between the haves and the have-nots.

Absolutely Not.
My own Catholic Faith has terrorist in Northern Ireland, and the Protestant have the Ulster Union in the same conflict.
From an American point of view this is just a complete joke that people would kill and injure each other and proclaim Christianity.
American have a summer vacation program where both denominations invited children of different denomination to America to see how we live together and praise Jesus Christ together in peace. We hope this will eventually end the hatred!

Why didn't other white people stop Timothy Mcveigh?
Why don't Catholic lay people stop each individual priest who abuses a child?
Why didn't soldiers stop other soldiers from the abuse at Abu Ghraib?
There are millions of Muslims all over the world, and their beliefs cary, as is the case with different Christians and Jews. Interpretive disagreements are many, group dynamics are complicated, and the determination of people to do violence can often not be stopped, because sheer force, trickery, or their pure damn luck....
Not all Muslims are responsible for terrorism, and there are plenty fo terrorists who aren't muslim (terrorism had its roots in european anarchism, in fact).

no! Have you never heard of the Inquisition,? How about the trials of movie stars during the McCarthy era? These were all terrorists,they just happened to have the majority of the people behind them. For this day and age how about the Unibomber, people blowing up abortion clinics and so called religious people causing trouble at soldiers funerals this is terrorism.

Absolutely not! There are terrorists all over the world from different religions, some even a lack thereof. It is the radical Muslim group that gives the peace-loving Muslims a bad rap. I am not Muslim, but please do not accuse all Muslims for something they did not do.

absolutely not, look at Timmothy Mcveigh and ted kazinski (the unabomber) both white breed American terrorists, the isrealis are not muslim they are jewish and they have car bombs. And as for your suggestion that is assanine, what like the whole muslim religion is some big brotherhood? "Yeah, we gonna need you guys to quick killing people now?" it is not that easy, especially when you are dealing with fanatical religious sects, why don't you read a little bit then come back and ask an itelligent question?

We have terrorists right here in our very own country, what with all the violence. And think of the bombs in London last year...
Obviously they're not all Muslims.
AND some Muslims are actually pretty peaceful -- don't stereotype!

No not all muslims are terrorists but the islamic leaders do not seem to know what is going on in their mosqs. when some one is acused or even had blown up a plain they will say O but they were a good muslim?? some thing definatly wrong there
