Here is a remedy that I have used in that kind of situation: I take 200mg of Niacin (not niacinamide). This will cause the body to release a massive amount of histamine; the skin will get red and hot for a few minutes. Afterwards, the histamine level is depleted so the allergic reaction stops. It takes some time for the histamines to build up again; I've never had to do it more than once.
The "niacin flush" is somewhat uncomfortable, but brief, worth it when I am having really bad allergies for days on end.
This cannot be used on a routine basis, because the body will develop a tolerance to the high dose of niacin.

I can sympathize with you sweetheart, I'm going through the same thing. I've tried breaking it up by hot water in a pan and breathing it, only to have the steam bring on more mucus. Allegra-D seems to help. See your Doctor or give them a call, you should be able to get it over the phone if he's treating you. Good luck

Allergies are a auto-immune disorder. The only thing I know of to really help is Transfer Factor from 4Life Research.

It has been a bad year for me too. You really need to think about seeing an allergist. You may need desensitizing shots. I used to be so bad that my eyes would glue shut at night. Now clarinex is all I need, unless I get an infection which I have right now. I have to have nose surgery this Thanksgiving Friday.
