they take this one "Me and God are one". which can have alot of explanation. such as Jesus can't speak by himself, but from God who tell him what to do, it's not necessary mean that Jesus is God. remember the Bible has been translated and it's not accurate.
but you never take these verses too literal?
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.
1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things,
Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
1st commandment: you shall not take other gods but Me.

deny the negative and harp on the things that can sort of be explained or interpreted. Its a basic principle of business and public relations. You know; for the biggest business in the world. Religion.

"Text out of context is pretext." Sections of the Bible must be read as a whole in order to understand a particular teaching or message. To choose several verses, indiscriminately, in order to back up a particular point-of-view is dishonest scholarship. It avoids what is really being said and creates an entirely new construct which may not have been the true intention of that particular, scriptural teaching.
Once, I had the experience of hearing a person dismiss a young person who was smoking and seeking help for his depression. She did this by quoting from Matthew where it says that one should keep the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, this verse was about adultery and had nothing to do with smoking. This is what happens when one seeks to rectify their choices by getting the Bible to say what they want it to say rather than its actual message.

If God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit would let Satan have influence over them, one would probably want to be superior over the other. But they agree so perfectly together they don't have to compete with each other.
God said let everyone be judged by two or more witnesses. God is the righteous judge, and there will always be two witnesses in heaven.

the completed faith is according to selecting and picking verses that say what they decide on... after which rationalizing away those that disagree. because of the fact of this further and extra definitely everyone seems to be coming to attain the lie that is Christianity. Now if the comparable component ought to only take place for Islam... this international could be in a lot greater effective shape.

Not really sure what the question is but if you believe the bible to be the Word of God then it is all the Word of God.Some people take parts out to make their own agenda sound to be from God but if you cannot back it up completely by scripture it is not.

The Bible also says in John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
1:14a reads, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."
The Word is Jesus so I think we should take that literally.

are you stupid? well for your ignorance, some of the bible's verses were written in metaphores. So naturally some have to be picked literal and some not.
And word of advide read the whole bible first, not just the ones that make you wanna have an argument. read it all first before having an opinion.

That is why you need to look beyond the words to the meaning behind the words. Every situation is different and therefore every situation is in need of a different quote or word of God. When you read a quote or speak one think of how it apply to your situation at the moment and you will find the answers that you need.

I have to assume that you are referring to the trinity, or that Jesus was God.
I always hear that verse, the father and I are one, as the explination to that. And I agree, but I don't think he was saying I am god in the flesh. and the Let us create man... it doesnt say that the us is referring to Jesus. This is mans assumption.

This is not just related to Christians. Most people that do terrible things to other people, justify their actions by quoting passages from religious texts (Bible, Koran, etc ....) that can be tailored to fit their prejudices.
