want to show it so how do i get a hijab form my
avatar im twelve

What, are you ashamed of your age? Don't be! As for an hijab - I'm afraid it would attract a lot of unkind comments. You really need not announce your religious faith unless someone asks, and usually, no one will unless, in the course of conversation, it becomes obvious that you are of a different faith. Even then, it should not matter unless the topic is exactly those differences. My suggestion would be - don't go with the hijab. But even a 12-year-old has rights, so you do what you are most comfortable with, okay?

There was a thread on the forum asking about hijab and similar garments (?)....there's not a whole lot of variety in the avatar stuff right now (some people were complaining, legitimately I feel, about lack of ones suitable for us Older Folk, for example). Don't know if Yahoo is going to put a priority on adding new doodads to the avatar option, since they've kinda got their hands full dealing with trolls, abusive reporting issues, and the firestorm from the new thumbs up/down screening....

Can't you get a picture and scan it in? (Ask a techie how, but it MUST be doable, since there's real pix here....)

I don't think it is wise to symbolize islam to hijab. Besides, religious beliefs are personal issues, why do you want to show everybody else that you are muslim? We are all humans, we don't need to insist on showing our differences!
