Tater Tot Casserole
Such an easy recipe, but so tasty! Moist inside and crispy on top! A complete meal in one pan.
Original recipe yield: 6 to 8 servings
COOK TIME 1 Hr
READY IN 1 Hr 5 Min
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
4 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 (19 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (32 ounce) package frozen potato rounds
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread hamburger into bottom of pan, covering entire bottom, gently tamping beef down. Sprinkle with diced onions. Layer frozen veggies as next layer. Cover with the soup, straight from the can, carefully spreading with spatula to cover entirely.
Layer tater tots on top, covering entire top with tots. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees) for 1 hour, or until hamburger is done. Check after 30 minutes; if tots are getting too brown, turn down to 350 degrees F (190 degrees C).

My family calls this recipe TTC (tater tot cassarole) When my kids were younger they would use their hands to spell out the TTC. It was silly, but sure fun.
TTC
1 lb hamb (browned & drained)
1 2lb package frozen tater tots
2 cans cream mushroom soup
1 can water
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Using a 9"x13" cassarole dish layer frozen tater tots, then cooked hamburger. In a bowl mix the 2 cans of soup & 1 can of water until smooth. Pour this mixture over the tater tots & hamburger.
Bake @ 350 degrees, uncovered, about 35 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle grated cheese on top & bake another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
This recipe is super easy & super cheap & most people really like it. I hope you do.

there are many to chose from..here is a very popular one...
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds tater tots, thawed
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 dash garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 cups cornflakes cereal
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
paprika to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
In a large mixing bowl combine tater tots, soup, onion, sour cream, cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt and softened butter; mix well. Transfer to casserole dish. In a medium bowl combine cereal and melted butter; spread over casserole. Sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese (use more or less according to your taste) and paprika.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until browned. (Note: It's a good idea to put a cookie sheet under the casserole dish, in case it bubbles over while cooking.)
