When I plug the USB cable into my computer, nothing happens. The camera goes black, and that's it. My pictures don't pop up. Help?

when I plug my camera in to the comp my screen goes black to save batteries. is there a light on your camera to indicate that it's on? when you take the cable out does your camera goes back to normal? If you said yes then your camera is fine.

did you install the software that came with your camera? if you did, is it running? my software is running all the time but some one may have close it or it might not be responding. press control, ALT delete at the same time and the comp task manager will pop up, under applications it will say which programs are running and it will say if it's not responding. if it's not there it's closed, or if it's not responding restart your computer or reopen the program and start again.

if none of this works look in the manual for trouble shooting, or call the company.

Why would you want a disposable digital camera? I have never heard of this and can't understand the logic behind having one. Would you dispose of it when the memory is full (delete files and release the space)? When its battery runs out (recharge or replace)? Edit: Kodak's so-called digital disposable camera is in fact a fim camera.

Have you installed the CD that came with your camera? Has it ever worked correctly?

I would try the following:

- uninstall your software and reinstall it
- power your PC off
- plug in your USB cable to your camera and your PC
- power on the camera
- power on the PC

You're generally supposed to have the camera off when you plug it in and THEN turn it on.

Set the camera to "REVIEW" so that the computer will pick up the images.

You need to turn it on before anything else.
I hope it helps...
