twisting words around and taking things out of context to try to serve their purpose? Why would you sit around trying to find things wrong with others??? And don't tell me it's because you're "concerned about their soul"....I have people who couldn't care less about my soul treat me kinder than so-called "christians". I am just so tired of Christians constantly trying to "prove" the LDS church wrong by slander and falsehoods. Someday it will end, I know. Anyone else feel as I do?

guitargal - that of course is your interpretation of the bible, here is ours about those subjects (just so you know)
We don't believe God had sex with Mary
Adam was the first man on the earth, therefore had the first children, our family tree starts with him!
Also, if you believe God created everyone and everything you must believe he also created Satan. We are all spirit brothers and sisters- even you and I - that also means Satan is our spirit brother, as well as Jesus Christ.
You don't have to believe what I said, just please get your facts right of what we do believe. Thanks!

Jamie M - Did you know the bible we follow, is the exact same KJV as everyone else? Buy an LDS Bible and a "Christian" one...they are the same. Don't know where you are getting your info.

gottarace - Joseph Smith isn't on the top of the temple - and we worship him. We love him for what he did for the church and the world. The angel Moroni, who visited and delievered the plates to Joseph is at the top of the temple, that doesn't mean we woship him either.

I'm sorry you have run into these Christians. Most christians, including myself, need to look within before looking outward. And most go about any witnessing in the wrong way and with no cornerstone or basis for the transformation. We are all sinners. No different from me or you. We just need to help each other.

LDS is wrong for the simple fact they don't follow the Bible. And if you say they do then why are they idolizing the "founder" of the momrom church by having him gold plated and putting him on the temple??? 1~No idols before God 2~ If there is a founder then doesn't that make it a man made religion????? There is proof.

Well then you need to talk to the missionaries that come to my house because the few that have have said that it is the founder of the church it came from the missionaries not me.

I just feel that the LDS church is wrong, because it directly goes against God's word, the Bible. And if you disagree, look it up! God didn't have sex with Mary to have Jesus, Adam is not the Father of the world, Lucifer and Adam were not brothers! Read the Biblical account of Genesis and you will find out!

Curious, but the only times I have ever engaged members of the Mormon church in any discussions of their beliefs, were when they came to my door with the intent of convincing me that their beliefs were correct and mine were not.

My assumption is that they were as concerned for my soul as I was for theirs. We disagreed about many things, both biblical and historical. The debates/discussions were often heated, though always respectful.

Perhaps you are either too thin-skinned for such discussions or you have simply had run-ins with discourteous people.

Christians have to force their beliefs on others to validate their own beliefs. They can't just live and let live.

Believe whatever you want. And don't listen to insane "believers"

All religions are false, including your LDS cult. There are no such things as gods.
