our essence, the part that makes us who we are, has a "divine spark"

As a collective, yes. I believe that the human race is immortal, will gain infinite wisdom, and shall yield power that will make God herself envious.

humans can be 'from god', 'like god', or in the case of Moses 'a god' (Ex 7:1)
