YOU CAN'T REALLY TELL. PEOPLE ARE TOO SMART THESE DAYS. THEY ARE EVEN ABLE TO CHEAT THE LIE DETECTORS.

How to spot a liar is one of the most studied topics in the social sciences... and all of the evidence is clear: People are no better than flipping a coin when it comes to detecting deception - there are no accurate indicators of lying. The following sites can be used as sources:

Sometimes, ppl will smile, figit, or look around (no direct eye contact). Although, some ppl are bold enough to look u right in the eyes & lie to u. Maybe a nervous "tic" of some sort would give it away, like tapping a finger...

I have heard that people blink A LOT, they fidget & they cannot or will not look you in the eye while they are lying or when you are asking them about a suspected lie.

If their eyes shift to their left, they are likely to be lying. If they remain focused or move to their right, they are probably sincere.

Most of the time, they won't look at you in the eye when they talk to you. Tend to defend themselves way too much, lots of excuses, and such.

Using the common sense never fail, if there are confusion, doubt
or the person avoid to respond to a question.

They can't look to your eyes. Sometimes is like they are saying something they have rehearsed again and again.
