Well in Dallas, the illegals driving under the speed limit (since they don't carry insurance) occupy the left lanes so here in Dallas the right lanes are for passing. Everywhere else though it is to keep fast moving traffic away from the on/off ramps.

I cant believe you are asking this question....If you don't understand the reasoning of the right lane being the slow lane then you have no business having a drivers license.

Because the left lane is the passing lane.

Because the exit and entry ramps come into that lane. So the left lane stays open to faster traffic for when people are merging in and out of traffic in the right lane.

I think its so that the faster cars that get into accidents will hit the other guy in the other left lane.

its because its the exit lane. they dont like people doing 90 mph getting off the freeway.
