It's been saying for a few days that I should update my iTunes, but I just didn't think it was a big deal and didn't get around to it. But now it won't open! I've tried clicking on the desktop shortcut, on the actual program, and on the little button in my taskbar, but nothing works! What's wrong with it??

try deleting it and reinstalling the new version from itunes.com

It seems that you might have spyware, or a virus. iTunes is a very sensitive program. I recommend using McAfee Stinger ( http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ ) , a very small virus scanner that gets rid of the common viruses.
