Heavier weight and low reps will build big muscles faster. For instance, 3 sets of 5-7 repetitions.

Regular endurance muscle? set a weight at 3 sets of 10 reps, the last set causes "failure" (You can barely finish the last rep)

Eat right, have your Dad, or coach help you learn how to do it right. Don't be discouraged at first, it takes about 6 weeks before you see real big changes.

There are several things you have to consider.

At your age, you body is expending a lot of resources growing. It is difficult ro be very muscular now.

However, there is diet that will determine your muscle buildup. Proteins and amino acids are muscle building blocks. You must be sure to consult a nutritionist, because a balance of nutrition is extremely important.

And yes exercise equipment will help. You see, muscle builds when miniature tears are made in their tissue because of an effort. Having a trainer and a program wil ensure you maximize your training and make sure you don't injure yourself.

I think you should you wait, you're too young, you'll have a hard time gaining. You need to hit puberty first and get those testosterone level up then throw the weights around.

Increase your protein intake, maybe try protein powder if you're not already, along with your workouts.
