Have a tea party. Have the guests bring a stuffed animal. Get out some of your dress clothes and jewelry, and have them pick a dress and get dressed up. But them all a pair of white gloves and have a cupcake and tea party. Take pictures of all the girls. Then, when your daughter makes the thank yous, she can make picture cards with the pics of the girls and then they'll have a picture of themselves all dressed up. I'm going to do this for my daughter next year.

My son is turning 3 in December! Every year it's hard to plan something especially because our house isn't big enough to have a party in. The last two years we've had his parties at my church in the gym which has been great. Last year I had a bounce house and this year I will probably have it there again. I'm planning on doing a costume party and have a contest and play games. Every year I try to do something original like this year I think I'm going to make a big picture of my son and play pin the treat on Micah where they try to get the candy in his mouth. Maybe it sounds hokey but I like to personalize it as much as I can. Also since it's in December I try to make it as un-Christmasy as possible. Hope this helps!

All indoor activities are fun if friends are invited to join in. A small party with a few good friends is always a great deal of fun and does not take much effort

I am a rep for The Purple Hippo http://www.purplehippoparties.com/aparisi and we have Parties in a Bag if you are interested. Basically, this company has items similar to what you would find at Build-a-Bear Workshop, but at a fraction of the cost. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
Good luck and Happy Birthday (early)!

I just gave my 3 year old a party where they decorated thier own crown, i bought it at "Christmas Tree Shops" 2.99 a six pack
we served them chicken nuggets, the parents appriciated the healthy dinner, and baby carrots and popcorn on the side, and they made thier own cupcakes.
they had a blast, they were busy and there was no great mess to clean.
enjoy and have a happy birthday

Let them decorate their own cupcakes..that'd be a blast for kids that age!
Get some small paper sacks and put a different object in each one. Have each child pick out a sack and have them stick their hand in and feel around and see if they can guess what's in their. If they get it right then give them a small prize.
Have them play musical chairs and give the winner a prize and maybe give the losers (for lack of a better term I guess) a smaller prize such as a piece of candy.

When I was younger, my mom would make these little cupcakes and let me and my friends put decorate them. It was a lot of fun. We would sing songs, play with things around the house, and if I was lucky, I would be allowed to shove cake in someones face. It was a lot of fun.
