Here is the way I look at it, and I am a liberal. We lost 100 + people this month and we are actually losing ground over there. Either we crush the insurgency or we might as well bring them home no and not have any more loss of American life. The people of Iraq may never embrace our form of government, we could be there 100 years and when we leave they would have a civil war. Given the point that we should have never attacked a sovereign nation in the first place in order to overthrow the government, I think it would at least be smart to have an exit strategy. Stay the course is no longer an option.

Some conservatives and moderates think the troops should come home. How could you think is not okay to bring troops to Iraq. Civil war is inevitable. Most of Iraqis want our soldiers dead. Their government has been weak. I think we should have the partition of Iraq, I see that as the only way to save lives.

I assume you mean immediately. I think everyone wants the troops to come home. I don't want US troops there in 50 years. There are many different thoughts on when the troops should come home, and I don't think all liberals want them home immediately. But I'm sure more liberals want this them conservatives.

Why not?

We are waiting for Bush to put his "plan" into effect that will show the world that only he and the Republicans can win the war in Iraq - and not the Democrats!

ROFLMAO!

Bush belongs in the Nut house and certainly not the Whitehouse!

how can the repug disagree? .............. the war in Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror ......... if anything it is creating more and more insurgency which we label as terrorist .......... what the hell are we doing in Iraq .......... the majority of the population wanted us out ........... how can we label the people fighting the us troops as terrorist ........ this is their land .......... and if you called this people terrorist ......... why do we called the Taliban and people like Osama Bin Laden ...........FREEDOM FIGHTERS AND HEROES ? .......... when they were fighting the soviet occupation in Afghanistan

this war is wrong ......... this war is unwinnable .......... the moral high ground is not on our side ......... by staying the course ........ if we couldn't win in Nam .......... do you expect the end result will be difference ?

Skinhead groups like the American Nazi Party gather voters by this stupid war. I think people there must really resent Bush for that.

Job's done, let the Iraqi's govern themselves.

But that does seem to run counter to Big Oil's interest.....hence, we're still there.
