NO, IT'S NOT A 2.2 MegaOhm RESISTOR, I know the difference. Apparently it's an electroliytic capacitor as it has the polarity marked.

Hey it just occurred to me if it's physically big, perhaps it's a 2200 microfarad (which technically equals 2.2 millifarad)
