This fu**ed up relationship I was in for six years the guy never wanted to talk about anything serious in person he would wait until he got to his house call me then discuss our problems or feelings or whatever. I felt like I was in highschool. Why did he do that? Just wondering.

He probably felt less inhibited when he wasn't looking you in the eye. You're well rid of him.

There could have been many reasons...But, it seems very obvious that it was the "safer" way to go. This could be in regards to the way you react,or to the fact that he might have not been able to be fully honest with you and lying was easier without facing you, or that he could only be absolutely honest when the two of you weren't together...etc. Endless possibilities. Unfortunately!

We are often nervous about talking about this kind of stuff face 2 face, we rather be on the phone or email, its less worries and more relaxing and comfortable.

cause if he said something you might not like you wouldn't be able to hit him until later.
