I do not have an answer for this yet, but I want you to know that you and your dad are not the only ones who have this strange and imbarassing twitch. I have been to the doctor many times for this situation but there has not been a actual diagnosis for this.

It's called a facial tic, but I don't know what causes them, it may be a mild form of Tourette's Syndrome.

a number of things cause it.. i have it too. i get it when i drink too much caffeine, when i'm stressed or when nervous.
no big deal (at least for me)

they say you are lacking in magnesium when this happens,check with a health store or Dr
