Dear enlight100,
I believe that you have been given some incorrect information. First, everyone that has not had their sins paid for will have to pay for them personally in hell. That is why everyone needs a Savior--Jesus Christ. But the Bible tells, "For many are called, but few are chosen." God chose those whom He determined to save before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-6). The fact of the matter is that ALL of us are dirty, rotten sinners and worthy of the eternal judgment of God. However, the Lord, is His great mercy and lovingkindness determined that He would make some these rebels His children in spite of themselves. We are all spiritually DEAD in sins and trespasses and cannot "hear" God, let alone obey Him. That is why salvation is completely the work of God! Salvation is a miracle that only the Lord can do.
People who "think" they can "accept" Jesus whenever they choose to do so are following a false gospel. Just read Matthew 7:21-23.
In response to your second question, No, the Jews do not need to completely hold Israel for the Lord to return. Many "theologians" incorrectly teach that Jerusalem will be surrounded by the armies of the world and then the Jews will call on Jesus and He will come to their deliverance. Read Luke 17. When studying the Bible, one has to look at all the verses concerning a topic and harmonize them all. You have not come to truth if you cannot harmonize ALL the Scriptures regarding a topic.

While it's true that the Jewish nation contributed to Jesus' death, we do not sit around plotting revenge on them for that. If God exacts justice from anyone for the death of His son, that is for Him to decide.
A true Christian would imitate Jesus' example and be peaceable w/ all men.
btw, according to the Bible, the arrival of Jesus is symbolic, not something to be seen w/ the naked eye. Events foretold in 2 Tim. 3:1-5 and Matthew chapter 24 mark the circumstances surrounding his presence, and the conclusion of the messed up world we live in.

We or God does not wish for anyone to parrish or be punished. But that everyone will repent "that is change his mind" about who Jesus was and what he did for us on the cross at calvary. Many jews have changed and accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Messionic Jews. No. I wait the arrival of Jesus for Him to inherit His kingdom on earth. The Jews, are the chosen people of God and the apple of His eye.

We do await for the second coming of Christ for the rapture of the Church, but only those who don't accept Christ will go through the tribulation period where there will come a false Messiah (exalting himself as God), which the Jews will then realize that Christ already came (as far as lived here on earth 2000 yrs ago).

No. We actually do not want anyone to go to hell, or to be punished. If you find a "Christian" that does, I would question if they are following Jesus Christ.
Not sure about the second quetion.

I don't want anyone to be punished. I wish we could all go to Heaven. I mean, we can, but we have to have Jesus. But I wish it were easier. But it's not.

If God tells me that they are his chosen people, to be blessed, and I am one of the rest that know Him....then how can I desire to see their punishment?
