Absolut and Grey Goose are good. Also Chandon Vodkas are good. Also a vodkatini with absolut and lemon is very sweet. Baileys is good. Oh, if you get pricey super premium everclear and not the cheap stuff, it can substitute for stoli very well.

I know you said no Stoli, but try Stoli Crystal (sp?) I had a bottle of this one a couple of years ago and it is one of the best Vodka's I've ever had, but somewhat hard to find.
Ketel One, Grey Goose, Belvidere, Tanqeray Sterling Silver and Absolut....all very good but a distant 2nd).
Also try Stoli Gold.

I am a bartender and you CAN tell the difference. Try Belvidiere. Or there is a smooth potato vodka that works well too. Grey Goose is also great, but if you want a good vodka, expect to spend $50.00 and more per bottle. Hope this helps

All of the vodkas mentioned are good (but most are expensive). The one we have found (my fellow bartenders and I) that we like that doesn't have quite the sticker shock is Three Olives. Nice and smooth. Enjoy!!!
