She needs counseling. Definately tell somebody. If you don't and next time she succeeds, could you live with knowing?

Good for you - to be concerned and wanting to help your friend.
If you are acquainted with the other people who know about this, maybe you can all put your heads together. See if you can find out how the others are handling this - maybe one of them has already told an adult of the situation.
If the other people care as you do, maybe you can all get together and rally around the girl. Hopefully she'll trust enough in the friendships to open up (like if there's something going on at home) - it'll show her that she's not alone, she's cared about, etc.
In the meantime, offer and ear and a shoulder.
Good luck to all of you in this.

Listen...I am 25 and a high school teacher and one of my students just killed himself last weekend. Now all of his friends are trying to live with the regret that they never told anyone. You HAVE to tell someone who knows how to handle this. You cant handle it yourself....find a coucelor or something and don't feel bad because it's very likely you could save her life. Its VERY important that you let someone handle this who is trained to handle the situation and DO NOT try to do it yourself......trust me. Im watching the effects of what happens when no one says anything and it is awful......
Please feel free to email me if you need any more advice about this.

try not to push her too much, if you want to try and get her to talk to you wait till you are doing something where their isn't a lot of pressure on her just keep it light. if she tries to change the subject just let her lead but tell her if she needs you your their no matter how small the thing is that is worrying her. if she wants to talk she will if you push her to talk it might just give her extra pressure that she doesn't need

I hate to say this but rat your friend out and ask the person you rat to not to mention your name. If you are a true friend you will get her help. Tell an adult of her attempt.

This person needs help and fast. Find a suicide hotline number and offer it to your friend. You might want to talk to a trusted adult about the issue.

If she tried to do so, it must be something bothering her. As a friend, try to talk to her and find out what her problem with her life is, and see how you could help her.

just keep it t yourselves. Don't go around talking about to everyone. And try talking to your friend about what happpend and about his/ her feelings. Talking about it could make everything better sometimes.
