I have been praying about something for a while (like a week or so). I'm wondering if I'm being selfish about it or what. Sorry for all the prayer questions. I'm just trying to get an understanding of what others think.

Well, God knows what the desires of our hearts are so I don't think He minds when we voice these desires. I would think that there are selfish prayers though. For example, to ask God for lots of money to spend all on yourself, that would be a selfish prayer.

Yes! That is why God didn't answer the hundreds of millions of prayers to stop Hitler before he killed 30+ million during WWII, too selfish.
