Bologna and ketchup? That's pretty bad alright... We had these so-called "pork cutlets" that seemed to be nothing more than incredibly bad breading with some cardboard-like substance in-between. Then they'd slop some gelatinous mess over it (they called it "gravy") that always reminded me of coagulated snot. All this and a milk for just a buck! What a deal!

Baked beans with sliced up hotdogs in it. GROSS! The bologna thing reminds me of H.S. and going to my friend's house during lunch and we'd make balogna sandwiches with mustard and Lays Potato chips on them. We loved it back then then but I can't see myself eating that now.

Oh, you save better constructive than lunch money! there's an astonishing discounts in outfits. A $4 t-shirt is one-fourth the cost of a widespread college magnificent. that's a seventy 5% discounts on college outfits. bare ft in summer season and socks/slippers in winter is lots better value-useful than on a daily foundation shoes. What approximately transportation? till you adventure the college bus or walk, you will save perfect here too. For some households the transportation discounts is extensive. With an enhanced versatile schedule like Penn Foster has, you're able to probable have the aptitude to babysit or get a component-time interest which will pay $40 a month! interior the form that your mom ought to enable you to computer screen a neighbor's new baby after college each and each and daily, you're able to extremely hide the cost of training and factors and function some money left to save-- or in keeping with possibility get your mom a efficient modern-day on her birthday! that's actual that self holding homestead preparation is an outstanding sized dedication for parents, yet with a application like Penn Foster, they might now no longer ought to spend to any extent further time than they do now for checking homework. Their area of help time for a private on line college shouldn't ought to swap very lots, and ought to be below in the event that they had to many times %. you up from activities or drama activities. Is there some project distinctive than money? Is your mom employing the cost as an excuse for yet one better reason, like now no longer trusting you at homestead all day? ought to you be arranged to spend 20 minutes an afternoon cleansing the homestead to make life much less complicated for mom? Or cooking? you're able to extremely ought to do it; now no longer purely promise and slack off, yet as quickly as you're able to coach your mom that her life could be much less difficult, no longer better complicated, which could be an outstanding advertising component too.

We had corndogs one day in elementary school. I like to pick the breading off first and then eat the hot dog. Well, when I started picking the breading off I noticed that the hot dog was completely green .... *shudders* ... I went hungry that day.

The perfectly-round meat-like patty. Could be beef, could be pork, could be chicken.
It's a color brown that no man has ever seen. It single-handedly created the need for jumbo bottles of ketchup.

I really enjoyed it at the time, but --
A slice of whole wheat bread with the crusts cut off, rolled flat with a rolling pin, then covered in "La Vache Qui Rit" (tr. 'the laughing cow') cheese, then in alfalfa sprouts, and rolled-up jelly-roll style.
Not terribly appetizing now.

the one that stick out in my mind is the sloppy Joes..they always made them ahead of time so that the bread was soggy and everything was cold..NASTY and they always left the milks on the counter so they were warm

Egg salad. The coat rooms had no refrigerator, and the smell of egg salad was over-powering even cold. 4 hours later was lunchtime. Amazing I didn't die of food poisoning.
Still traumatizes me today.
