As there is no proof even now, I don't think that you can say they're not believing something that is not real.
I'm constantly told that my own religion is false, but I've had just as many miracles or coincidences as they. This is countered with accusations that I'b being decieved.
The Bible says "By their fruits shall ye know them", but Christians don't believe in fruits if they come from a different religion. A double standard if you ask me.
Anyway, my response stands: What real documentable, empirical proof do they have? And as a corrolary, what proof do they have that my religion is less authentic or righteous?

Years ago I read a newspaper column by a lady who's considered "World's Most Intelligent Person" or some such.
Named ,Marylin Vos Savant.
I was somewhat a fan of hers,,not because her replies to questions were so Intellectual,Educated,Brainy...
But because her LOGIC and Rationale were always VERY down-to-Earth ,,Level Headed,,,and IMPECCABLE.
An Excellent THINKER,,far beyond any "information" she had mentally archived.
A READER asked her a question about "GOD",,her thoughts on his existence, etc.
It was phrased in terms of the matter of "Scientific Proof",,as best as I can recall.
This,,,,GENIUS LADY,,,didn't answer anything particularly "Intelligent" or "Knowledgeable" whatsoever.
But,in all her WISDOM she offered this in reply,,
" I would rather live in a world where God was REAL,,and Nobody Beleived it.....
Than in a world where there was NO God,,but Everyone beleived there was . "
Interesting perspective to ponder, especially considering the source.

Christian viewpoints will and have always changed with science. Anytime anything comes close to disproving God or the Bible, the church will "change" to conform to that but still leave their God in place.
You can't prove or disprove the existance of God because it is based on faith.
If we ever communicate with an advanced Alien society and they tell us there is no God. I doubt it would matter to religious folk.

I have the Holy Scriptures first of all - that is proof enough for me. The Bible is "God breathed" - penned by men but inspired by the Living God. Also I have the Holy Spirit within me that bears witness that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Blessings and I pray you find Him before it is too late for you.

God's existence is not dependent on our belief or disbelief. God simply is.
One of the sophisticated concepts used by great Christian theologians is that of "The Ground of Being." This concept indicates not that God is the fact of things existing, but that God is the basis for the existence of all things. God is more fundamental to existing things than anything else. So fundamental to the existence of all things is God, that God can be thought of as the basis upon which things exist, the ground their being. To say that God is The ground of being or being itself, is to say that there is something we can sense that is so special about the nature of being that it hints at this fundamental reality upon which all else is based.

No, most christians have had a real expirence with god and so it would be hard to belive in this god without it. Other religions who create god with rituals like islam don't have that problem.

Are you telling us that God is real? You have no way of knowing. From my perspective God isn't real and Christians still believe in him.

No. cause if their was no God their would be no christians or for that matter no mankind, cause we were named after him(christ) and made in his own image, plus if God didnt exist neither would we or the world.
