We already have a court order for custody and child support but, lately the mother has been out of control? I live in california.

Call childrens services ASAP....
they can grant you emergency custody of the child, but only if the child is in immediate danger.
If not, you could try physically going to the house where your daughter is and see if you can get the mom to let the child leave, even if its just for the night. If she refuses, call the police.

Call The family support services find out which district atty is handling your case have them do an emergency income assessment of you to prove that you could handle the responsibility there by establishing your self as a fit parent. From there you need to call CPS they will want to give custody to a parent before they give it to a stranger. To be considered you have to be seen as a responsible fit parent. So establish that then you can establish the rest.

go to a lawyer and tell him. They can maybe get her a drug test, and if positive you may be get custody of your child. Good luck

Call the police....let them see the behavior and document it.

you will need proof of this, or it will be your word against hers.
maybe just suggest to the mom that you want to take the kid for a bit becuase she needs help...I dont know.
