you could say hi to her or invite her to go to the movies or out to eat with you sometime

Start off small, like smiling at her every time you pass her in the hallway! If she starts smiling back, then you've gotten somewhere, and she might be interested. Then, look in the yearbook, and see if she's in any extra-curricular activities, like if she's in band, go to one of their concerts. If you do this, make sure that she see's you there! If she just smiles at you, then she probably just wants a friendship, but if she say's something along with the smile, like "hey!", then you should let her know that your interested in going out sometime!

I think the best way to get a girl to notice you is if you notice her first. What is she passionate about? Get interested in what she is interested in, and then when you have her attention, get interested in her. She'll like all of the attention, and then you can find the right moment to tell her how you feel about her.

Start a conversation with her, come up to her and talk to her in the hallway. Maybe invite her to hang out with you and a group of people.
