Is there a site that will quote from many insurers?

Doing a google search on 'travel insurance brokers' will give the websites of various brokers. However, I have used Worldwide Insure http://www.worldwideinsure.com/ for the last 12 years or so for my travel insurance. They are very good and competitively priced.

The word cheap and insured are not words that necessarily go hand in hand. I would suggest you contact your local travel agent and have them book a reliable carrier. There have been horror stories of fly by night travel insurance companies.
