I did not fall in, I jumped in, feet first with eyes wide open.

Misleading question. Nobody "falls into sin". You can fall into a routine of sin. You can be saved, but reject it, thus "falling from grace." When Adam and Eve sinned, we had the "fall of man" from perfection.

The idea in all of these is that you can exist in perfection (through grace and forgiveness), but you can "fall" from that ideal.

I'm afraid it's not as fun as some of the other answers...

As a bonus, though, consider the phrase, "I tripped up..." People prefer faults to be an accident rather than accept blame for their own actions.

You gotta believe in sin. Honestly I find sin to be a matter of opinion. It seems to be pretty popular these days.

It starts in the spiritual world. The first sin is that we envied Gods position. Since there is no envy or hate in the spiritual world immediately they fall to the material world to try to Lord it over material nature. God trys to stop us from going but we just want to try to Be Him so He says "Knock yourself Out" which we practically do . One has to understand Karma and Reincarnation to actually understand the all loving mercy of God. King Constantine had everything taken out of the Bible about Reincarnation and vegetarianism. He pretended to be a Christian but he was evil. There is a book called You Mean That's in the Bible, which shows the mistranslations and the story of Constantine. You can get it at www.krishnaculture.com The Christian Essenes have the whole story on Christ www.essene.org.
So what happens as we go from one situation to another we miss use our free will and then we then have to suffer in our next life. Not eternal Hell though there is a hell it is just for some time. That is mans interpretation to make it eternal. that was to scare people into acting rite now. Answer yourself -Why is a baby born blind or sick and another born rich and healthy God does not Say ini mini mine moe no - Because of their previous life they acted wrong (not enough to go to hell) but to get their karma here. So its simple for the simple.

Romans 6:2 "For we are dead to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"

Once you're Christian, you die to sin. But you still have your sinful NATURE, so you can fall back into sin.

it would be called deeper into to sin, we are already sinners
but we haven't committed every sin there is,and you must not continue to give in to it,to fall in would be like going out stealing for a living or lying everytime you open your mouth, thats like you practice sin, instead of trying not to sin

Well if you are speaking of someone who has been saved through Jesus Christ- one can still fall into sin- being tempted and being weak to the flesh- that is when we "fall" BUT the Holy Spirit convicts us- and we are "aware" when we sin- asking the Lord to forigve us and repent. Those that are saved in Christ Jesus WANT to please Him and walk with him- we want to abide by His word....and the Holy Spirit helps us. But we are still human and sometimes we still mess up- but the difference is we are "aware" of it- we know what is of God and what isnt. Conviction is a great thing!

Matthew 26:41
"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."

It's a figure of speech. Even though we are all sinners, we have the ability to choose the paths we walk. When someone chooses a life of crime or deceipt, they are "falling into sin." They have chosen to ignore the righteous path.

Because the Christian religion beleives that jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again. Some even beleive he's coming back.

well, you know, after reading that, you're degrading Catholics, and you need to know, people can rid their sin, they don't have to be sinners forever. Only the smart people realize that....
Maybe one day you'll actually understand what I'm saying and get your head out of you a** one day.......
