I think in the early stages of relationships and dating this happens and sometimes its akward because you never know and you should never assume. I always offer to pay my share and if they refuse fine, everyone works and I think its only fair to offer, I do not think it has anything to do with the sex at all. Maybe he didnt have enough cash on him, maybe he wants to see how you will react, maybe he is hoping you might offer to pay sometime, there is no telling why the dutch thing came up that day.. there can be many factors, main thing is .. we women ... over analyze things to death once sex comes into play, so just relax.. take it easy.. enjoy your dating him and see how it goes. Im sure he will treat you to breakfast again soon!

Okay thats pretty pathetic.. A real man is going to pay for you, open doors for you, and all of that sweet stuff all of the time! My husband paid on the first date we ever had together and every date from then on..

That fact that you had sex with him, changes the whole "Dutch" thing. He was supposed to pay for everything! It's obvious he's broke. He doesn't deserve you! That was pretty pathetic and cold of him!

this is a sexual bias againsted women. the tradition of the male paying is due to the fact that back in the day men had jobs and as a result money and womne didnt. now both have equal opertunities so both should pay. either both pay for yourself or take turns

If you slept with me I would pay.
Now on to the question.
Some guys now feel that everything should be split. In all honesty some women actually like that as they want their independence. If he made mention of it he is looking for you to pay half. If you feel it is wrong then find another guy

I never let girls pay for anything. It probably because I'm old fashioned that way. Plus I don't think I've met anyone who earns as much as me, except for this girl who is a lawyer..

He should have paid. Sounds like he got what he wanted and lost his motivation.
