bars and now find I have nothing to do. I dont really have any hobbies and am single. What would you recommend ?

I am also single and in my 30's. I have found that people I know from work that are single know what great events are happening around my city. I have found several of them that I thought were interesting and have been attending for some time now. Even if you don't currently have a hobby or social life it is really not that hard to start out although it may feel that way at the moment. If you want some other suggestions just let me know and maybe I can help.

get a hobby. join some kind of club or fellowship. if you're trying to date, meet new people on myspace. just don't come off as an online predator and you'll do fine.
there are all kinds of online groups you can join... whatever interests you, there's probably already a chat group about it.
do you watch any television shows? there's groups for those, too.
do you read fiction? groups for those.
do you collect rubber insects? groups for those even.
just don't give up the dream... life is out there just waiting for you to dive in.

Find a hobby! Take up reading, try art, cooking, card games, join a club or group, hang out with friends, maybe date.

Sorry but I just feel like you.Same situation and same feeling.It helps me think of something good that might still happen.All in all we're still quite young and who knows,soon or late it will change,won't it?

pick up a hobby. try random stuff out. get out and try ANYTHING you've ever wanted to try but haven't. learn guitar, how to draw, dance, how to play poker. ANYTHING. your life isnt over yet, dont waste it and regret lost time later.
