Little Round Top was a site involved in the Battle of Gettysburg, so many deaths may have occurred.

Colonel Strong Vincent , who led the initial charge for the Union army was killed in the battle. He was later made a brigadier general.
General Stephen Weed was also killed, as was Col. Paddy O'Rourke.
