roman empire? i mean how did it fall?

Basically, the empire just overexerted itself militarily and became too big for it's armies to defend properly. Add in a heap of political corruption and lack of patriotism and it wasn't too difficult for the Germanic tribes from northern Europe to overrun the empire.

I've heard much speculation. It was due to homosexuality?
People love to say things are Gods vengeance for things.
But what sounded believable to me. Was that they drank from
lead cups. And the minds of the rulers slowly got eaten
away by lead poisoning, which made them make stupid mistakes.
Nero supposedly ordered some soldiers to set fire to Rome, and
fiddled while it burned. Obviously a case of psychosis!

It was split politically by civil war and all that good stuff then waves and waves of "barbarians" invaded and obsorbed the roman culture into their own
