I buy Skinner pasta. There is an awesome recipe on the back for lasagna that you don't cook the noodles. Virginia's Easy Lasagna. It's the best I have ever had. Though we are a cheese eating family, so i do use a little more mozzarella.

Fresh Lasagne pasta does not need boiling and it is the best taste in the world, better than any purchased packet stuff. Cook 180o C for the sauce and meat to absorb into the fresh pasta.

Oooh, I almost yelled at the previous answer until I read that you have "fresh" pasta. If it is indeed fresh and you have a sauce to add moisture you're probably okay not boiling it. If it is not fresh, you have to boil it. By fresh we mean flexible just made, not dried crunch store bought stuff.

Still, boil it anyway. It can't hurt. :)

It comes out much better if you dont boil the lasagna pasta first.

Nahhh, don't worry about it. Fresh pasta takes literally seconds to cook anyway, and I'm sure there's enough moisture in your sauce/filling to take care of that in the oven.

I usually use the Barilla no cook lasagna sheets. But if you have fresh, I bet it will be fabulous.

NO NO NO !!!!! this will result in a nasty slimy mess !! Layer the pasta with bechamel and meat sauce,cook for 45mins on 180 c and the pasta will be cooked and absorb the flavours all by itself !

no you don't have to do that it tastes better if you do your layers but always make sure that your pasta is always cover with something as it will will just absorb the moisture from either your mince sauce or cheese sauce

no, and don't buy the special no boil lasagna noodles either, they are a rip off..
just add you layers..(it's easier to spread the ricotta or cottage cheese on the hard noodles anyways)and use a little more sauce, so the noodles have a little exra fluid in the pan.

No need to preboil the pasta
that's just one of the beauties of fresh pasta
no precooking involved
that and it tastes way, way better then that hard stuff in a box.
