It's obvious your friend is totally afraid of commitment and probably needs professional counseling, because she is behaving in a very self destructive manner. What she is doing is making a very bad reputation for herself, that can NEVER be lived down and exposing herself to STD's, and other serious consequences that are not good. If she is truly your friend, you need to talk to her. If she won't listen, you should probably break ties with her, because people are going to think that you are that way too. It's a sad thing, but that is the reality of it. Best of Luck! Nana

hahahaha I was SO that girl. It took me until I was 25 to finally hang up my player hat! Look I was so afraid of getting hurt. I just knew that as soon as I give my heart away someone will break it, but if I break their before they break mine I will never have to deal with the pain. I hurt a lot of people and I do reget doing that but it was a form of self preservation. I almost let myself fall for a guy when i was about 22 but then he started to hurt me and that was it 4 years later I am finally settled down with the guy of my dreams and I know he would never purposly hurt me. So in closing a broken heart, I felt, would be much worse then broken relationships

she sounds like either a pessimist or a realist... depending on how she views relationships. if men are only good for the first three months in relationships she's been in, that'd be a pretty good reason to justify it. on the other hand, if she thinks that men are incapable of having a good relationship past three months, that is also negative towards relationships in general... she has no faith that any relationship will be worth going past the three month mark. she could also just be enjoying seeing what's out there... it's great to see a woman who isn't afraid of the societal double standard.

It is immaturity. She wants the thrills & excitement that come at the beginning of new realtionships without really have to get emotionally involved with the person. She has the fun, without the work & committment, but she also misses out on the wonderful things that come from emotional intimacy.
