Well Babs is the Patron Saint of fireworks, but as for a NAME of a firework, I would think that must be St Catherine of Alexandria - the Catherine Wheel

Previously, this referred to St. Barbara as her murderer was struck down by lightning. Barbara was removed from the revised Roman calendar and her name was suppressed in 1969.
