Bay Meadows owns and operates Hollywood Park. The future of the track is in question, but Bay Meadows has spent a lot of money upgrading the facilities--they've installed a polytrack surface that debuts on Wednesday, and they built a sports bar in the clubhouse area which opened last meet. There was a period where Inglewood looked like a player in possibly drawing an NFL franchise, but that looks dead.

According to article by Beth Harris, Associated Press, dated July 6, 2005, Churchill Downs supposedly sold Hollywood Park to BMLC (Bay Meadows Land Company) for future developments due to the high price of the land!
