Of course! In fact Einstein said that it was important to study how the universe worked, "God would want us to know." Why would God not wan us toknow how he got things to work? If God made us in his own image, then being stupid is going against what God is.
Scientists, nurses, doctors, and educators are really doing God's work.

I don't know the percentage, haven't read a 'survey' on it recently. But I'm sure many do believe that God exists and some follow Him. It depends on what part of science they are involved in and if it compromises with their beliefs, I guess.
People trying to prove evolution probably don't belief in God but people studying animals and planets might. As a child, I always thought that God created evolution and the universe and animals and planets and weather because it gave scientists jobs to do. I still think that.

I believe that more scientist are starting to believe since the increase in technology. There are so many unexplained answers. They can not prove evolution, although many think they have. There are so many gaps in evolution that many people are insisting on a conclusion, that we will never see, and are turning to a Superior Being instead.

Some do, some don't.
If you look at people with no science degree, a bacchelor level science degree, masters level science degree, and PhD level science degree, you'll find lower and lower ratios of believers to nonbelievers, however. ie: the higher the education, the lower the likelihood of belief and in the presence of belief, lower the likelihood of literalist interpretations and higher the likelihood of deism vs. religion.

A scientisit is one who proves and shows action/fact thru methods and deduction, right? It really should not have a hand in that persons faith...which cannot be proved by fact.
