British Police can not even grapple villians to the floor, it takes 6 British cops to put a villian into a police wagon. British door staff have more umph that the uk police. Come on British Government Get a Grip and sort out our country.

As I have said many times,our police are completely useless,it is this and previous governments that are responsible,the rate of crime detection is so low that it defies all understanding,you get no or very little response when you do report a crime,it is as if it is too much triuble for them,come on fellas,get your collective fingers out,let's go back to how the police thought and acted25/30 years ago!

You might have noticed that American police carry big guns and are quite happy to blow your ************* head off. The reason our police seem so soft is because the pc brigade are adverse to criminals being taken round the back and given a good kicking never mind being shot at.Apparently it interferes with their human rights,so instead of being bundled into a van by a couple of coppers you get picked up by six so that you don't get damaged in transit. And if you think that American police have more control on the streets I suggest you find out how many murders,rapes and drug related crimes they have in comparison to UK.

On the other side - it's no fun pointing real guns with real bullets at a house full of kids with the off - chance that the drunken bullying idiot you've been sent there for has a replica that he's just using to show off with.

The reason we use 6 against 1 is so that the person is brought under control without hurting them (Article 2 ECHR) if it was one on one The police officer would have to be very violent to bring the criminal under control. The difference in the states is that the bosses support the officers. But in the States they police by force where we police by consent, as we are public servants.

believe me they have got nothing under control ,they have the death sentence and there murder rate is inhuman for a western country, i think soldiers in a different uniform would get more respect .because that's all it is.i think America are good at breeding criminals, if a guys going to rob a store and steal $2000 dollars, and risk getting is twenty years without a gun.he must be very very desperate .whats the sauce of the desperation to choose to do that crime , something the american goverment are good at doing, putting people in their place with bully tactics.

they dont have any control - I live next to the states. They have more people die in the state of california any given year than ALL the coalition casualties in iraq
they have no control - its just a gun and aggression and a faster end to it - one that usually results in the death of someone
it is safer there for human rights etc... european countries have a better government than ours in canada or the states. you have socialism and human rights - something to be proud of
