Is it okay to ingest a bit of plastic?

I was eating food using a disposable plasic spork. While eating, a small dull piece of the spork kinda chipped off and I swallowed it.

Will I be okay and it'll just pass right through me?

You should be fine. Small things like that, made of non-toxic materials, should not affect you.

Dunno, 'bout that, but I once swallowed an elastic band and I'm fine. And last week I chipped my tooth and acci-dental-y swallowed it,the chipped part, and I'm still fine.
