You are correct. We have strong family values. Americans are always getting divorced but we value marriage too much for that.

They are also the only race working in fast food restaurants, which has caused customer service do drop to the lowest in this country's history.This has nothing to do with being independent. They want to multiply like rabbits so the government can't force them to leave because their kids are U.S. born citizens, doesn't sound very independent to me, and their kid's primary language is spanish. Give me a break, this is America, speak english, if you don't know it, then learn. You came over here after Americans created the culture of America. You say you wanted a better lifestyle? Why do you still live the same way you would in mexico? People from your culture standing at freeway off ramps selling flowers, coconuts with straws in them, strawberries and oranges must make you real proud that you can see the same thing here as you can in your own country. The reason american citizens are so pissed off about all this is not because they are racist, it is because the government is trying so hard to give illegals rights, that they are taking away from the taxpayers rights. I'd never thought I'd see the day that I was over qualified to rent an apartment in Orange county, CA because I'm white. I've been living this for 4 months and it's bullshit.

Can't you go have your kids in Mexico? What about family values IN Mexico, which is supposed to be this big latin influence etc?
Ok, let's talk about 'family values' IN Mexico...since I bring it up:
Unwed mothers, underage pregnancy, STD's like there's no tomorrow, abject poverty, father's day in Mexico must be almost as confusing as in Oakland, CA! LOLOL
The only 'family value' that's going on here is the value being taken out of the US economy from american families...and given to all the hospitals etc. that the illegal aliens are patronizing, free of charge, WIC handouts etc., it's pure wealth redistribution, no wiggle-room there...if I had someone else footing the bill, I'd probably have about 5 kids by now, myself...let's not kid ourselves, welfare families /= real family values...nice try, though! LOLOL

From what I've seen, the Latinos get married real quick and have lots of kids, but when it comes to having a truly loving family, they are not so "friendly". It is sooooo common for the husband or wife to cheat, for the husband to beat the wife, get drunk constantly, for the parents to make the kids work as young as 12 or 13 to pay the household bills, neglect their education, for the extended family to cheat and steal from each other. This is not the kind of example we need.
Of course that is not all of Latino families, but to generalize the "Latinos have good family values" myth is incorrect. I have dealt with many, many Latinos personally and I lived in Mexico, so I know.

Republicans initiated the steps to legalize Mexican immigrants, believing that their traditional family values would result in more votes for their platform. What they don't realize is that traditional mexican parents don't learn to speak english and the children-who are sent to school-influence the parents decisions with regard to voting and other too complicated matters.

Watching the Latinos? I'm watching them every day where I live ... I see school drop outs, gangs of youth, large families with no discernable parental control .. getting married is not very difficult, looking after the offspring seems to be more so.... family values indeed ....

Thats because a lot of them dont believe in divorce! dud Catholicism!!!! Oh yeah and I was told by a Latina friend that even if their husbands beat them they will stay with him because they dont believe in divorce! screw that Ima whoop his assss, then call a lawyer! thats the american way.

Maybe we're not family friendly, but if you don't like it you really don't have to be here. I don't come to your country and preach to you what is right and wrong. If we're so bad, why are so many people risking their lives to get in here?
