There's only three years difference which isn't bad on the surface. The problem you might run into is that these tend to be two different worlds - middle school vs. high school; high school vs. college, etc. These mean different experiences each of you will be facing and sometimes different maturity levels. However, it is a fact that girls mature faster than boys so she may stay even with you on that level. If it's God's will for the two of you to be together, things will find a way of working out.

If your motives are pure...then why not just be her friend for now. There is such a big gap, emotionally between a 13 and a 16 year old. Believe me--she's not ready. Perhaps you are drawn to her simply because she is pure and innocent. So many young girls your age have already given in to sexual temptation and that may make you feel uncomfortable due to your spiritual convictions. So, it's "safer" in your mind to like a young girl because then there is no pressure on you to do something you feel is morally wrong. The best thing you could do for this girl is let her grow up. You might change your mind about her when you are 19 and she's 16. Wait it out my friend. Talk to your pastor.

There's nothing wrong with being in love with her. Just as long as you realize that love is not a feeling, love is a action. Love will not ask you or force you to do anything ungodly. Love is unselfish....As the both of you grow, encourage each other in your walk with Christ....You will be tested in many areas, and satan will try to use the both of you against each other, in using one of you to cause the other to fall. Be patient and read 1 Corithinans Chapter 13 together out loud. Pray for each other....and always remember that Christ is first, never put her before Christ and encourage her to do the same. As long as you focus on Christ, everything else will fall in line.
God Bless

Just keep it clean and if you really like her ask God for guidance everyday (for real). Treat her good and dont break her heart. Please keep it clean. Im not gonna say your too young because heck your gonna do it anyways but dont sin. Do things together like read the bible and do sports. Remember this: In order for a relationship to work you need to be friends first.
OMG- and dont ever take advantage of her age.! Never. Treat her like an equal and respect her. Please.
Keep her safe and if no one is opposing ..... God Bless You 2!

I hate to say it, but 13 is too young to date. If you don't mind a suggestion, I'd wait until you're 18 and 21 to pick that up. Yes, five years can be long, but it may be worth it, as both of you may be mature and better able to handle things.

nothing is wrong at all! its good the both of you have that attitude, it means you won't have to worry about getting her pregnant.
it's also good that you love her not just for her appearance, why aren't there more guys out there like that???!!!

Why would you think so if no one else does? Maybe you need to re-evaluate.
