In the past,my Laptop can play all video DVD and CD.Oneday,I have install Cd rewritable.I can not tell if I have install it wrongly. Since then,I cannot play my CD any longer.One of the error messages that often appear is
WINDOW MEDIA PLAYER CANNOT PLAY THE FILE.THE PLAYER MIGHT NOT SUPPORT THE CODEC THAT USED TO COMPRESS THE FILE.
Please,What must I do so as to for it to function properly again?

look under tools and then options, then look for file types, hit the block that says select all.
restart computer, should work
