Normally no. With some of the credit monitoring services they will give it to you free when you sign up for their service. Then you have 30 days to cancel.

If you go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com it will be offered for a small fee as part of the free credit reports.

Credit 'scores' are rarely, if ever, provided free of charge.
Credit card companies won't provide you with this either. IT also varies amongst the 3 major credit reporting agency. Spend the $30-$50 and get a 3 in 1 'credit report' WITH score from either Equifax, Trans-Union or Experian.

Any 'FREE' sites/offers always come with a catch. Usually it says 30 days free but you still have to give them credit card info and if you don't cancel within those 30 days, they slam you with whatever monthly fee they charge. How many of us are so freakin' busy that we forgot we signed up for something and got hit with at least one chagre before we remembered and cancelled?

It will cost to get your score but it is smart to do to see where you stand. There are many places to go

www.annualcreditreport.com is a good one.

You should go once a year and check your credit-it is free 1x a year and will not count against your score if you use that site (and a few others).

If it's the first time you're getting your credit report this year. Beware of the sites that want you to sign up for their credit monitoring service.

Some credit cards provide it for free too.
