Try Mary Tyler Moore. She had great hair. Or Maybe even Cher. How about Marilyn Monroe.

In the fifties, I wore cardigan sweaters backwards and straight skirts at knee length. My hair was short in a pixie or long in a french twist. Dark eye makeup and pale lips.

Big spiral curls then pin them up and leave a few down in the back and sides. If you can make a swoop on one side
